WELCOME TO THE FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON

ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - EST 2025

It is time to reflect on our achievements and come together to share our progress in the field of environmental science. We are excited to announce that our biennial scientific meeting, Environmental Science and Technology 2025 (EST 2025), will take place on June 18–19, 2025.

We warmly invite you to join us at EST 2025 and contribute to this year’s conference. We warmly invite you to join us at EST 2025 and contribute to this year’s conference. While maintaining its traditional major sessions, the conference will place a strong emphasis on pressing environmental challenges. Key topics will include the impact of climate change on natural resources, resilience to environmental hazards, the application of emerging technologies such as AI and nature-based solutions to address environmental issues and more. A special focus will be placed on desertification, exploring practical technologies and assessing their effectiveness in combating this critical issue. This focus is particularly timely as Mongolia prepares to host COP17 next year. Additionally, with Mongolia set to host the Third Asian Conference on Permafrost in 2026, the conference will dedicate significant attention to permafrost thawing and its impact on ecosystems. Detailed information on major sessions and sub-sessions can be found on sessions.

This year, we are proud to promote our journal, the Mongolian Journal of Geography and Geoecology (MJGG), with a Special Issue dedicated exclusively to EST 2025. Extended abstracts will be submitted through the MJGG's publication system (https://www.mongoliajol.info/index.php/MJGG/submissions), ensuring a streamlined and professional process. The MJGG will be published entirely in English for the first time, marking a significant milestone in expanding its reach and impact. We remain committed to upholding the high standards of quality and rigor that have characterized the publication process in previous years.

Key dates to register for the conference and submit short and extended abstracts are below:

Registration and short abstract submission: March 07 – May 16, 2025

Extended abstract submission: March 07-May 09, 2025

We look forward to seeing you at EST 2025, learning from your expertise, and engaging in meaningful discussions that drive scientific progress.
